When I’m not hiking in the countryside, or scouring the city for new places to eat, believe it or not I like to cook a lot at home myself. I learnt to cook at a young age, my mum and dad teaching me the importance of being self-sufficient as well as broadening my horizons and expanding my food experiences. At 7 I was making marinades with dad and baking cakes with mum and from that age onwards I had a passion for food that only grew and grew with my appreciation for it.
Now with a professional chef qualification under my belt and years of experience in the restaurant trade, I not only like to eat out at great pubs and restaurants but also love to create new things in the kitchen myself. You will see recipes and useful tips and tricks I have picked up a long the way as well as my favourite places to shop for the ingredients I use.
